Does anyone have any good Gulf Flight Jodies?

Cool Mace

Not off the top of my head...

Does your flight have a nikname? What kind of jodies are you looking for?

I can come up with a few for you if you would like.
CAP is what you make of it. If you don't put anything in to it, you won't get anything out of it.

Don't you mean "Golf" Flight, or do you not use the phonetic alphabet?  You could be old skool and use "George" Flight,  but me personally... I want to be in "Easy" Flight.   ;D

There aren't that many folks on here that are olde enough to really remember Able, Baker, Charlie, Dog, etc. as the current military phonetic alphabet.

Oh, I know that there are a few, myself included. IIRC, the system changed in the late '50s or early '60s, because I was still pretty young when it happened. (Wikipedia shows the transition happened between 1956 and 1959.) I do recall that I learned "Able, Baker, Charlie, Dog...", and not long after having to learn "Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta..."

Enough of this. Back to jodies.

I know a few non Gulf flights... But I could very much write some if you need/want... Sadly, I use to write jodies a lot when bored...

Sorry Golf* flight jodies

I got a new keyboard and I am not used to it and I did not see that when I went back over it

ElectricPenguin

On the drill pocket notebook thing (around $1.40) it has jodies on the back.

ElectricPenguin

The general rhythm is Ke$ha - tic toc made by - Unkown

Wake up in the morning feeling like PT
Put my cover on, I'm out the door –remember to greet me
Before I leave, brush my teeth with a bottle of water
Cause when I leave for formation, I ain't coming back
I'm talking – blisters on our toes, toes
creases on all our clothes, clothes
try hard not to groan, groan
Drop-toping, singing our favorate jodies
hoping to get set at ease
MOWG 2nd CTG..

[CHORUS]
Don't stop, or your element
will be misallgined
Tonight, I'm in a flight
'Till theres no more sunlight
Tick tock, on the clock
but I got to be on time
Woah-oh oh oh
Woah-oh oh oh

[Chorus]
Got to address my sergeant sounding enthusatic and elated
Ain't got no money in my pocket, cause it got confiscated
Now, I don't mean to gloat or sound like a bragger
But my wing patches is pressed just about sharp as a dagger
I'm talking about - everybody getting in step step
heading to inspection prep perp
Wishing that I had actually slept slept
Now, now - we goin' til they say lights out out
or the encampment shut us down, down
encapment shut us down, down
CTG shut us -

Don't stop, or your element
will be misallgined
Tonight, I'm in a flight
'Till theres no more sunlight
Tick tock, on the clock
but I got to be on time
Woah-oh oh oh
Woah-oh oh oh

Don't stop, or your element
will be misallgined
Tonight, I'm in a flight
'Till theres no more sunlight
Tick tock, on the clock
but I got to be on time
Woah-oh oh oh
Woah-oh oh oh

First Sergeant, you build me up
You break me down
My heart, it pounds
Yeah, you got me
With my hands up
You got me now
You gotta that command voice
Yea, you got me
First sergeant you build me up
You break me down
My heart, it pounds
Yeah, you got me
With my hands up
Get your hands up
Put your hands up

No, the formation don't start until I walk in

Don't stop, or your element
will be misallgined
Tonight, I'm in a flight
'Till theres no more sunlight
Tick tock, on the clock
but I got to be on time
Woah-oh oh oh
Woah-oh oh oh

Don't stop, or your element
will be misallgined
Tonight, I'm in a flight
'Till theres no more sunlight
Tick tock, on the clock
but I got to be on time
Woah-oh oh oh
Woah-oh oh oh

Too long. Too much to remember. Good jodies are short and easy to sing along to.

It's set to Tik Tok, most everyone under 22 or so (including me, surprisingly) will remember it fine after a couple of uses >:D.

Nah, like The Maj. said. Short and sweet. Way too much going on there for some one who wants to learn a nice quick jodie.

Keep it simple stupid.
