It's that time of the year again when Lightspeed Aviation Foundation is giving out $10,000 grants to deserving (by vote) aviation groups.  Of course, CAP is a finalist.

Voted. Great plug. Maybe CAP NHQ (and other units) can send this out over Facebook & Twitter to gain additional votes.

OK, I reluctantly voted for CAP :-[, because there were some other groups that were nominated that seemed to at least have a narrative that better showed how that funding would be used.  CAP was very generic.

I guess I might ask what would we do with the $10K in funding.  Does CAP at National HQ have a wish list for donors that is published ???  Since the wing banker's program has been initiated how many grant proposals have been written in each wing, region, and at national.  Maybe we need to concentrate on sending some of our people to course on how to write grants ???

I voted, but is this group real? I would expect that a group with those kind of financial resources would know how to spell the the word "Brief"...... Or did we all just sign up for homemortgageviagrapnselragmentnigeriascamsamwayworkathoe .com?

I think I may vote for CAP this time...last time, I voted, unapologetically, for Veterans Airlift, but they didn't make the cut this time.

If they're not for real, then my 30-3G headset is a figment of my imagination...amazing how much noise it cuts down that way. >:D
