GPS Disruptions in the southeast?

Not again.  Does this occur anywhere else normally?

It happens whenever/wherever the gummint decides to test stuff that will interfere with the GPS signals.

If I recall correctly, I received a notice recently that GPS signals within a 120 mile radius of Porterville, Ca would be disrupted periodically: I seem to recall this month.  Since I am not planning any extensive cross-country flying right now, I hit the delete button.

Yes, there are periodic tests affecting GPS, but the FAA lets us know when and where.

Looks like the Navy is up to something. Jacksonville is an NAS and China Lake NAS is near the western one...
