What do you all think of IS-700? I think of it as the hardest test that i have ever taken... :-[ I stoped counting how many times i had taken it after 19.

I passed with 100% in about 12 minutes flat.  In fact, now that I think about it, I don't think my total time for IS-100, 200, 700, 800, and a few other random ones came over an hour...

That reminds me, I need to take it sometime...

My employer made me redo all of those even though I presented valid certificates. Only took me 8 min to do them over again.

Such is the life of a federal emergency response official in Washington DC. I work in a cabinet level emergency operations center.

My employer wouldn't let us take IS-700 on-line. We had to sit through a three hour class and take the paper test.

It was tough... staying awake.

Oh really?  Who exactly do you work for?

I dont blame them.  most people take more out of the teacher than they do in the online class.  Face it.. how may people do you think have just goggled "ICS 700 Answers"?

CadetProgramGuy

GAH! Why didn't I think of that!?

Because it goes against the CAP Core Value of Integrity. Self-explanatory.

The Core Value of Volunteer Service. What good are you to the survivors of a downed plane who are waiting for you to find them if you don't really know the ICS courses, and by extension if you use that route, any of your GT training?

The Core Value of Respect. Respect yourself, our organization, your fellow volunteers at the squadron enough to actually follow the instructions, do the test yourself, and maintain your Integrity.

The Core Value of Excellence. Cheating in no way, shape, form, or idea goes along with this.

I know you didn't do it, ma'am, but you did ask why not.

Although, if you do google it, the fifth result is a CG Aux site giving instructions on how to get the answers with actually going through the whole course.

I wasn't sure, to be honest; however, I have a lot of faith in SMs until they prove to me I shouldn't. Really, that wasn't directed at you, and my reasons for posting it are below.

I felt the question warranted an answer for those cadets who may have thought the same thing- but with a serious intent to actually do it.

Hopefully that little reminder will keep their heads screwed on straight until they just know those sorts of behaviors are wrong and unacceptable in the CAP or academic setting.
