Anyone know anything about this organization?

Never heard of 'em, but if they are legit then good for them. CPR is such a simple skill that can have tremendous impact when used appropriately, there is really no reason everyone should not know the basics.

You might want to ask the squadron's that they provided training to. In the photo section of that website there's some pictures. Also on the "Join Us" (schedule) web page, looks like some additional CAP units are taking advantage of that training.

Wonder if it is free versus what the American Red Cross charges?  Also looks like they are teaching the new theory method of chest compressions only versus any mouth/mouth breathing.  Doesn't chest compression only CPR have some limitations as to what it can be used for (e.g. NOT for drowning victims?).

Without even a comment on their relative value or the importance of CPR, I'm just not a big fan of all these little "grassroots" organizations
who decide my already full calendar needs to be fuller, especially for items already covered within our program.

Many of whom don't understand when you say "thanks, but no thanks..."

..and spamming is certainly a sign of their forethought.

Not bad, minus the fact that they started chest compressions prior to checking for a pulse.

I didn't think you were supposed to crawl up to the victim either. She also didn't use a mouth barrier.

1.  No look, listen, feel, 5-10 seconds for breathing
2.  didn't 'completly' remove clothing (details brothers.....)
3.  No pulse check
4.  Didn't call for help or ask for AED
