Has any squadron planned a ski trip for cadets? Are there any special procedures that need to be observed (besides the regular ones forms, cadet protection, higher echelon permission, etc)?

How are you talking like as a civil air patrol function or something to do with the kids (cadets) off of civil air patrol time.

Nothing in CAPR 52-16 indicates anything specifically for ski trips.  Take the usual set-up for a CAP cadet function... get permission slips, notify higher echelon, have two senior members, designate the uniform of the day, arrange appropriate transporation, etc.

Have fun!  :)

One of the first things to do is contact the ski area you are looking at going to. Many offer discounted lift tickets and stuff for non-profit youth programs.
