That "CAP" on the fuel tank is an abbreviation for "Capacity".

What is with the picture of the State Cop'er?

I once saw a CAP DDR shirt in a movie or TV show.  I have no idea what it was in now.

I've tried multiple times since to figure out what it was, but no idea now.  It wasn't anything super-exciting - just some extra in the background wearing a CAP DDR shirt, but close enough to see distinctively what it was.  Same one that I had.  Actually, I miss that shirt...it was soft.

Yeah, you can see like what looks like an 87 after that CAP in the image.

Eastbound and down .. Load it up and truck it..

It seems like one or more of the Iron Eagle movie series may of had some Civil Air Patrol stuff in it.  Maybe that's where you saw the T-Shirt??

The first one was supposed to feature us but NHQ wisely denied that. I think DOD didn't like the movie either because it was filmed in Isreal using IDF/AF aircraft.

I watched a movie about a US Army helicopter pilot whose job was to rescue her team that got stuck in a drug raid that went bust in south america or something like that and the base's comms got blown and so they brought in a a plain clothe civilian from the "civil air patrol" he wasn't wearing CAP uniform or anything and he helped rig a communication antenna and such.  This was just a movie, but I was surprised to hear the phrase "civil air patrol" but then again there are different countries with different "CAPs"

The Civil Air Patrol participates in a "sterile" mission?  Do we have a USAF approved Sterile Mission Uniform and a corresponding corporate version thereof?  8)

Drug busts don't sound very sterile to me, the guy was in plain clothe though and I wouldn't call it USAF/NHQ approved if it were me.

Its from "Go" (1999); towards the very end of the film.

BRILLIANT!  9 points (minus one for missing apostrophe).  I don't remember ever seeing that...maybe it was on TV.
