Hey i know there is a thread about people in this forum and i know that are a lot of Senior Members on this forum but what about cadets? i feel like there is so few of us. i say us cadets should introduce ourselves, whether we have already or not.  we'd be a great help to one another.

I'll start:

My name is Kelsi Christensen i have been in the Cadet program for 3 years this July. I received my Mitchell in March. I enjoy FTXs and SAREXs, and getting to know other people. I've held many Leadership positions in my squadron and will soon be the C/CC.  I do manythings outside of CAP, one of which is on a robotics team and a rocketry team (yes i'm strange) :D

Anyway, what about you guys? what do you enjoy doing in and out of CAP? and anything else you would like to tell us. :D

Thanks!!

Good show of leadership, Lt.

Cadet Dan

My name is Dan Russell, this is my second year in CAP. Going for my Mitchell very soon.  Joined CAP in Bismarck North Dakota in the summer of '08. Got my curry and was whisked off to encampment. Lived in Cleveland Ohio where I got my Wright Bros. and entered my 1st leadership position as flight sergeant. Came back to ND and held many leadership positions at encampments, activities and at the Squadron level. Loving every minute of it. Going to be living in North Carolina and then Vermont this summer. Currently working on getting my private ticket and am going to my first NCSA this summer, SUPTFC. My long term goal: Graduate from the Airforce Academy. Outside of CAP I run cross country, play trumpet and travel the world. Maybe I would enjoy IACE in the future?

As a former IACE cadet, many many years ago, it is still one of my most cherished memories.  Go for it!!

Welcome to CAPTALK.

I am C/Capt Addison Jaynes, CAC Chairman of the Texas Wing. I am unit-assigned to SWR-TX-354. I received my Earhart at the start of the year and am hoping to progress through the cadet program more. I have been to numerous leadership schools (including completing the TXWG CTEP program), commander airman leadership schools, and planned activities time and time again. I prefer not to put my resume on here. ;)

This summer I will be attending the TXWG Summer Encampment, then heading up to Maxwell AFB for Cadet Officer School. Directly after that, I will be heading to National Blue Beret in Oshkosh, WI.

There's a little about myself...

That's what Kelso's all about.

Say "Hey" to the gang for me, Kelsi!

My fellow Ameri Airmen,
::)
I am cadet Senior Master Sergeant Raduenz, Cadet Commander of SER-GA-506. I joined CAP in July of 2009 (look at my signature, that's how I advanced so quickly), and plan on going to encampment and becoming a cadet officer (for the third time) this summer, so I can have a rank somewhat appropriate to my title

I have done little with CAP, simply due to my short membership time; most of my accomplishments are JROTC, though I'm most proud of my CAP rank- little room for argument as to whether I earned it or not, and I know how hard I've worked for CAP rank.

This has taken me 2+ hours to complete, because I've already been absorbed into the debate they call CAP Talk. :D Have a great day everyone

V. Basile

Hello all!

I'm C/SSGT Victoria (Tori) Basile, from Peninsula Composite Squadron (PCR-WA-051, Yes, I know. We get teased from being from Area 51  ::) ), Washington Wing.  I have been in CAP for 17 months, and have completely enjoyed it!  I have been to numerous WTAs (Washington Training Academy),  staffed a Wing Flight Encampment (Desert Eagle V), been to Arlington Fly-In 2009 and been to a basic encampment (Cascade Falcon XIV).

I am an Element Leader at my squadron.  I am also the Activities NCO at my squadron.  I have planned one event and it went great!!

Hello, all!

I have been in CAP for 17 months. I have been to multiple wing activities, well more like countless. I have been to two basic encampments, one at which I was a basic (Cascade Falcon - XIV) and the other I was on staff (Oregon Washington Joint Wing Encampment - I).

I am fully qualified in GTM 3 (Ground team), MSA (Mission Staff Assistant) and FLM (Flight line marshaling (I like using '()' if you can't tell. :) )

In my personal life I enjoy MAKING COOKIES. Seriously.

That's me in... a few words. :)

Howdy!
I'm actually from WAWG as well. I was born in South Carolina and get made fun of a lot for wearing a jacket when everyone else thinks its hot out. PCR-WA-046, Skagit Composite Squadron, where I am an element leader and the webmaster for our "cadets only" site. I'll be attending my first basic encampment this summer, most likely as a SSgt. I missed out on Winter encampment because I joined in september and really didn't get on top of activities until later. I'm crazy about flying, and outside of CAP I cut grass.
