What kind of glue?

What kind of fabric?

Both are important to know before making useful suggestions.

What kind of glue is it?

Superglue? - Try Acetone or Nail Polish Remover (test in an inconspicuous spot to ensure color steadfastness) to dissolve it.

And in a well-ventilated area.

That stuff stinks.

Making suggestions without knowing what the fabric or glue are, is folly. Acetone can damage some synthetics, and is useless on many glues.

If it is hot glue you can put it in the freezer then when the glue freezes you can break it right off

If it super glue Goo-B-Gone sp? on a rag works great

Goo-B-Gone also works with the same caveats...
Nothin' like trying to get an old caveat out of a flightsuit...

So, the OP still hasn't given us any further info to help him out. Hmmm.
