I was wondering, I've snooped around online and only found the Powered Flight Academy age and cost, but not the glider academy. Is it 14 or 15 years old, and how much does it cost?

14 at the start of the academy.
$1000 for 2012.
2012's was last month.
Thank you!
I'm wondering, will you leave the camp with your solo wings for gliders?

It depends on how well you learn what's taught. Some solo, some don't.
Alright, thanks for that, I'll make sure I work harder x2! :)
If I go. :P
As I understand it, you only get pre-solo wings the first year of glider academy. If you go back a second year, then you have a chance to solo and earn the solo wings.
Or you can get your pre-solo wings and then when your squadron possibly holds a glider weekend, you could solo their if you have all of the requirements done.

Correction:
Quote from: CAPR 60-3
3-7. Classification of CAP Pilots. CAP pilots may operate a CAP aircraft according to the classification of their experience and skills as follows:
a. CAP Solo Pilot.
(1) Possess a current student pilot certificate with solo endorsements in accordance with 14 CFR Part 61 from a CAP instructor pilot in the make and model aircraft flown.
(2) For gliders, a minimum of 30 dual glider instruction flights prior to solo. Glider encampment/academy students are restricted from completing solo the first time they attend.
Ohhhh! Well, looks like I'm applying for some scholarships, unless a miracle happens there's no way I can pay for 2 years.
