Purdue University....I love that place.

Reminds me of the University I would have rather been accepted to.

That would give me a reason to go up to Lafayette and hang out with some friends.  Then again, I'd have to actually attend the conference.

Decisions, decisions.

Gonna need the credit for Level 3 Mr. Reid. Might as well get ahead of the curve. Besides we could meet if you went.  ;D

A tempting reason to fall on that sword, of course.   >:D  ;D

I'm probably not ready to go this year, but what actually happens at a wing conference?  I'm assuming classes and meetings.  Thanks for indulging the "noob" question.

I've never been before but there are seminars and an awards banquet. There are no prereqs other than registering. UOD would be blues or Corp equivalent or business attire. You should come and we could have a Captalk get-together.  ;D

I'll be at the Spring Encampment right before that, so I'll probably pass this year (I don't think the wife would like me being gone another weekend!)  Next year is a definite possibility though.

Bring her along. Non-member spouses are welcome. It's only Saturday so you could just drive up and then back that night.

We'll see.  Right now we're getting ready for my daughter and I to both go to encampment, which is getting kind of expensive.  I'll keep it in mind, though.  I'm wanting to get as involved as possible.  I wish I could have done this when I was my daughters age.

Don't forget to bring your daughter along if you come. It's open to all members.

That might have to wait for her to get older.  I imagine a 12 year old would get bored.

Quick question about online registration. I saw you accept PayPal. Does your Wing have a checking account that you hooked up to that or did you use a different account (such as your own) to process the payments? I might be involved with helping set up an event and would really like to do something similar. I was curious about Wing regs and how that pertained to your event.

I have no idea how it's run. I just posted the info as a courtesy to CT. If you PM me I will get you in contact with the officer that could help you out.

((bump))

I hit the early registration today.  I'm hoping I can get in on one of the tours to the wind tunnel and flight sim.
