that pilot might be looking for a new job if he is found to be taking civilians without proper authorization.

most o-rides in most militariesrequire you to do ejection training if you are going to be flying in an airplane that has ejection seats.

sounds to me this guy was flying under the radar.

Anybody know what the South African rules are?  According to the article, the event occured in South Africa.

I knew a US Army Officer who rode in the back seat of a USAF RB-57 in VN and he blew the canopy for just about the same reason that this guy did in the PC-7.  That ended the good deal for Army officers getting rides in AF aircraft.
