Air Force now has a Polo/ Khaki uniform.  Looks good.

Come On CAP.....get with the freaking program.

It's not for all airmen. It doesn't equate.

Eclipse

Its also worn with the brushed nametag and optional badges, which seem, to me, to miss the point of an informal uniform.

Why not just embroider everything on it?

Because it makes sense?

However , it would make it easier to put one together. Off the shelf components, pin on the insignia. You could go to Walmart at lunch and get what you need.

That uniform is what my Air Force Reserve career field is.  Services, we work in the Gym and the modern version of that has been in place for a couple years now.  Its a lot better then the BDU/ABU's, just looked weird to see those around the gym.

Not just for Services anymore. There was talk of recruiters wearing it, but nothing in this release: http://www.af.mil/news/story.asp?id=123149476
