I am not trying to start a fight of we don't need this training, its a waste of time or more work than we have time for.  I am just trying to find out if I am correct on the on-line training below and whom needs to complete it.

I am the PDO of a Group and we are going to hold a Face to Face Squadron Commanders call this weekend and just wanted my facts straight of what training must be completed and when.

ORM Basic- All members (Cadets and Seniors?)
ORM Intermediate- Senior Base Staff and FRO's
EO- Seniors Only?
Aircraft Ground Handlers- All Members who have the required qualifications (See National Memo)
OPSEC- All Members
Lastly all the IS/ICS Exams- All Members (If they are participating in ES)

With the exception of OPSEC and the IS/ICS exams none of these have a required date of completion do they?

Did I list all of the required training and to whom the proper individuals who needs to complete it?

Thanks.

Not sure, but if I remember correctly, ORM is for commanders and safety officers. The rest may take it, but not required.

And don't forget CPPT. It's required of all seniors and cadets 18 and over.

The ground handling video has an initial completion date of 30 Sep 09 for those in the memo.

From the same memo:
Refresher training will be required annually for all CAPF 5 pilots (due date will be 30 Sep of each year). Refresher training for all other specialties will be done in conjunction with the specialty qualification renewal every three years.

"Can everyone benefit from the training" is a question you must ask yourself.  If you already have everyone together for training, throw in the ORM, or Safety, even if it is not required of that particular member.

That's what I've been trying to do when I can finally get people together. If I leave them to do the online training on their own, it never gets done.

Log into eServices and click the link for CAP Multimedia, under CAP Utilities.

Click the link for Video Courses, Aircraft Ground Handling is the only one listed. Select View Video, either dial-up or broadband.
