I am working on a CAP ringtone based on the 45LP CAP IS ON THE GO. Crazy or Unique idea your thoughts.

In my phone, I have ringtones assigned to specific groups.  For instance, all my AF contacts are assigned the AF song.  All my cop friends have the COPS theme song "Bad Boys".

My default ringtone is from the show "24", the ringer setting they use in the CTU HQ.

For incoming text messages, I use "The Unit" ringtone that's more of a short but distinctive blip.

All of this is wasted because unless I'm at home, my blackberry stays on vibrate.  I hate audible...especially obnoxious...ringtones in public.

So yes, I would use the CAP ringtone for all my CAP contacts in the phone.

The more you sing it, the more you love it...I find myself singing it the shower occasionally :)

ELT audio signal?

Just about every CAP ES geek I know has one of those already - most phones can use an MP3 as a ringtone.

Its "cool" for about 15 minutes.  I'll use it on missions or in a CAP setting, otherwise I have the same disdain for
"fun" ringtones as noted above, especially in a business setting.

My ting tone is a Jet Engine starting.  Maybe a Cessna 182 starting for CAP?  Well, maybe not.....I might have landscapers following me thinking its a lawnmower.

ol'fido

Maybe the hotline tone from the old movies "In Like Flint" or "Our Man Flint". On a more serious note is there someplace to listen to the CAP IS ON THE GO songs or download them for an MP3.

hehe got that one.
Most might recognize it better as the Austin Powers videophone ringer tone in the movie

Ah yes, late 1960s references!!!  Herb Alpert music on the Hollywood Palace and Sergio Mendes and Brazil 66's "For ME!" on AM radio.  That must have been a great time to live.

Agent 86's shoe phone...and who could forget the CONE OF SILENCE!!!

If its a choice between CAP is on the go or an ELT, I think I'd choose the ELT.  Seeing as how I'm too lazy to do either, I'll stick with Ring Ring

Hmmm...I assumed they worked.  I have them on my PC.  I'd upload them here but they exceed the file size...

+1

I'd rather have the ELT sweep tone, which, BTW, I could put on my phone if I really wanted to.
