So, I'm watching America's Got Talent last Tuesday night, a show I've been able to catch before. And hear we have this older guy from Texas, whom they say is a CIVIL AIR PATROL Mission Pilot! CAP not only gets a mention, but they put up a couple photographs of Paul in his flight suit along with a few other members.

I can't be the only one who caught this! Does any one here know him?

Here's his latest (the judges said not his best) performance from this week's show...

I don't know if you can still cast a vote for him, but it's worth a shot!

Here's another earlier performance, and much better... pretty cool actually!

They "name super" him as a former Air Force pilot, too bad it didn't say Civil Air Patrol pilot!

Members in my squadron caught it, and mentioned it at our meeting last night.  They said the guy was a mission pilot for quite a while, IIRC.

That's cool! I know he's not in CAP, but my childhood friend Neal Boyd is still in the running as well. He's the awesome opera singer. :)

Neal and I have been friends since I was 7 years old and he was 9... We were in choir and debate together in high school. He's an awesome guy; exactly what you see on TV is how he really is. He definitely deserves to win.

If you missed the half-hour live show on Thursday night, Paul has moved into the Top 10 to win a $1 Million Las Vagas headlining gig.

His wife looks like a sweetheart too, she must be very proud. Wonder if they'll mention CAP anymore?
