I've always thought that CAP should find a large college with available dorm rooms during the summer break. That would give us rooms, classes, a banquet hall, etc for a minimal price.

We had a Boy Scout Event, around 10,000 people, at Indiana University.  It was a blast!  We stayed in the dorms, met in the stadium, and had breakouts in classrooms.  There was also a bunch of local restaurants that catered to college level budgets (read.. cheap food).

The best way is to rotate the conference from region to region each year, some say it will be San Antonio next year.

I totally agree with you, the conference should be moved around, perhaps to places it has never been in the past 20 years.
