Redbird Leader

During my sojourn in the UK with the USAF, I had the pleasure of "serving" with No 2417 (Newmarket) Sqdn, ATC, as a CAP member in a foreign exchange type position.  LOVED IT!

The stories I could tell . . . .
Commander, Redbird Cadet Sqdn (MO-801)
Captain, USAF (Ret)
Prior, never ex, cadet (Mitchell unnumbered Jul 71)

Were you stationed at RAF Mildenhall? Part of my youth was spent at RAF Chicksands.

You are always welcome to visit us at Spangdahlem AFB Germany. The UK and West Germany is not too far away from each other....with the train it will take you  3 hours.

Just let us know.  Visitors are always more than welcome........

So I'm off to England, from whence I shall assume international correspondent duties to CAPTalk.  Coming to you live, from the local pub, er, university. ;)  Hold down the fort 'til I return.

Judy: bon voyage and good luck in your graduate studies.  Remember that the natives there speak English and you speak American.  Occasionally, you may understand each other.
