Congratulations, good luck, don't forget the finance audit, and don't sign for anything you haven't physically seen, counted, and inspected personally!

Major Carrales

Welcome to the SQD COMMANDER's exclusive CLUB  ;)

Congrats.

You'll need lots of these:

Steven Fedor, NREMT-P
Master Ambulance Driver
Former Capt, MP, MCPE, MO, MS, GTL, and various other 3-and-4 letter combinations
NESA MAS Instructor, 2008-2010 (#479)

Yes ! good for you. . .

now according to Black Beard: You need to start "afresh", line up all the former staff officers, shoot them! and appoint new ones >:D

now, you may have to recruit another squadron , but it does solidify your base, and any threat of an overthrow.

We had our first meeting.  Things went pretty darn well.  We are now having Senior Meetings on Saturday mornings once per month, and the cadets are every Thursday night.
With the change, I had two experienced Seniors transfer in who are 100% dedicated to the cadet program.   My DCC is also a working CFI.  I now have 3 Seniors totally dedicated to the cadets.
As far as Seniors, we are a Sq. that is geared highly to the aviation side of ES.  So our Senior Meetings will be focused on Professional Development towards Mission Pilot and Mission Observer status and ES in working with Ground Crews.    As far as promotional Professional Development, most of my Sq. is made up of very senior Majors and LTC's who are all former Sq. Commanders and a Group Commander.   It was really kinda neat.

I almost felt a little like George C. Scott at the opening scene of "Patton"!  OK...maybe not quite like that ;D
Our big hurdle now is relocating our Sq. HOPEFULLY to the National Guard Armory.
