Ummm... we've had over 8500 people register. The 5000th person registered way back in July 2011. The 5000 you see on the home page is the number of members who have posted.

Close... The number listed on the homepage is the number of current accounts. We delete a LOT of spam accounts, and those are just the ones that aren't caught in the banlists.

1071 .. but 1701 would have been more cool ;-) Or if I had somehow nailed getting the same UID as my Gill Rob Wilson number .. if something like that happened, I'd be disgusted I "wasted" the "coincidence" and didn't use it on a Lottery draw. >:D
