I'm writing a cover letter to my unit's comms officer for a role on the communications staff. Since it's only squadron level, would the abbreviation be DC (which 1-2 says is for a Comms Director), or something else not covered in CAPR 1-2?

Comms Directors exist at the Wing Level. Comms Officers are assigned to the Unit level.
