Is America's Air Force Dying?

This time around......they are looking for cause...unfortunately that just turned it into a One Failure Air Force.

Remember guys, there's nowhere in the entrenched civil service where we could make cuts before gutting the US military.  NOWHERE.

So like the VA?  The civil service is also facing cuts as well as the DoD.  NASA, NIH, NSF, VA, HLS, SSA, etc are all facing budget cuts or restrictions.  The fact that the DoD has received the brunt of the "cuts" (despite that the budget actually has been increasing) is well, they have the largest single budget and are the largest single US agency.  The military is not getting gutted.

Interesting view, considering my office has gone from 7.25 FTEs (5 full time 3 part time employees) to 3 FTEs (3 full time) since 30 Sep 2010.

The service plans to cut 2,700 civilian positions in 2014 and 2015 and a total of 6,300 positions over the next five years, according to Air Force spokesman Maj. Matt Hasson.
