Hello all,
This week I am taking the Wright Brothers Exam. Just out of curiosity, are they all multiple choice? Also, is the drill portion require you to drill, or is it that they ask questions on drill?
Thanks, C/Cookies  8)

Think of the Wright Brothers Exam as a review of everything you have done up to this point for leadership as well as drill and ceremonies.  The questions are going to cover the information in chapter's 1-3.  The drill test is going to cover what you had to learn up through C/SrA.  CAP tests don't change their format much, only their content.

Is there a drill test seperate?

Expect the drill test to be given as soon as you're done with the test proper.  Your squadron may vary.

The drill test can only be given if the written portion is passed with an 80% in it's 30 questions. Or, you can miss a maximum of six questions. Then the 20 step drill portion is done and the total passing score must remain 80% of above. Meaning you can miss up to 6 on the written, and 4 on the drill for a total of 10 missed.

If you miss 5 on the written, you get 5 chances to screw up on drill. :) Miss zero on the written, you can have all 10 of your possible misses on drill.

If you fail the drill portion to where the total score is less than 80% when combined with the written, you can re-take the drill only portion on a later date.

Unlike the other drill tests, the drill portion of the Wright Brothers test is a controlled item and you can't see it ahead of time, and shouldn't even see it when the test is given. The commands are called, you need three other cadets at a minimum, and their in/ability to perform does not reflect on the person being tested, however it's to their advantage that the others know what they are doing.
