+1 to SARdragon, riggers belts are not authorized.

For which uniform?  They sure are for the blue field uniform.

No.  There are no elastic belts with black tips manufactured for wear with the Air Force Uniform.  The only elastic belts are with silver tips for wear with Blues.  Sorry!

Hate to break it to you but there is a stretch BDU belt.  I wore one until I switched to a riggers belt.

Same here. I had both a blue one for CAP and a black one for Army JROTC WIWAC.

Cite please. I previously quoted the BDU entry. Here's what it says for the CAP Field Uniform, page 87:

3 Belt Any plain dark blue or black woven cotton web belt may be worn.

All the riggers belts I've seen were woven nylon. I have two varieties myself.

Is it bad that I started wearing a rigger belt with my BDUs the last couple-three years I was in CAP?

They're way more comfortable.

And who was going to inspect my belt? :)

Never said it was bad from a practical PoV. Not such a great example for a Light Colonel to be setting.  ;)

Inspect? It's pretty obvious every time you remove your blouse.  :P

And the troops thought the only reason the CO didn't remove his shirt was that he was a) cooler than a cucumber; and b) there to supervise. :)

There was a Pvt Murphy's Law cartoon that had a CSM with a thought bubble saying: Someone is wearing an unauthorized belt!

Of course, I can't find it.

My first year in the USAC, we're at Fort Bragg, and I'm there in ACUs with our (USAC) jumpwings on.

And I'm thinking "I'm gonna be over at the PX/DFAC/O-Course/Minding my business/whatever, and some sharp-eyed CSM is gonna appear outta nowhere with the knifehand going 'Captain, just what the -hell- is that on your uniform?'!"

They can smell someone doing something. I swear.
