Also different taskings.

CAP GSAR is for wilderness SAR.

CERT is aimed at urban/rural post disaster SAR.

Complementry....but not a 100% fit.

As far as NASAR standards......like RiverAux said.....our standards are just as legitemate as they are.
Many large metro SAR teams create and train to their own standards.  NASAR is only good if you do not have an organic SAR training program...which we do.

And before anyone dogs me......I think NASAR is a great program....but we don't need it in CAP.
