Hello, I have taken a leave of absence because I realized it had to be like that. I have come back to CapTalk with a new perspective on life and on here. Before I ever start a new topic or comment I should use the search option, or find it by researching on the internet. I should also watch how I use *grammer and punctuation. I also should make sure the post or topic is able to be read clearly with out errors. I would like your perspective on what else I need to fix besides what I have already mentioned.
Thanks.
I'm glad to see you have decided to start doing all this. You might want to add using a spell check (there is one right next to the 'post' button) before you post. Reason below...

Mr. Anderson, welcome back...

You've been in CAP for 2 years and are a Cadet Airman. Fix it.
You keep asking for 'stuff' in the Marketplace forum. Stop it!
If you are looking for something specific for, let's say your 24 hr gear, then ask for that specific thing.
Example: I have a large ALICE pack but need a frame, does anyone have a frame or know a good place to find one for cheap?

Let me begin by saying that there are no stupid questions. Everyone has to start learning from the beginning. However, there is also a right time and a right place for questions.
So for the sake of this post, we'll go with two question types, GOOD questions and BAD questions. Here's some examples:
GOOD question: You approach your squadron's Emergency Services Officer (or whoever handles ES Training) at a meeting and ask him/her "How do I open my GTM-3 SQTR to begin training as a ground team member?"
BAD question: You approach a Ground Team Leader after morning briefing at your local SAREX and ask him/her "How do I open my GTM-3 SQTR to begin training as a ground team member?"
BAD question: You start a topic on CapTalk or CadetStuff asking "How do I open my GTM-3 SQTR to begin training as a ground team member?"
Did you notice that the question was the same each time? The difference between it being a GOOD question and a BAD question was in where, when, and who was asked. Get it?
Now, relating back to your original question, this forum shouldn't be your primary source of information about CAP, so getting on and asking questions that should be asked and answered in your unit is a waste of everyone's time.
Stop trying to live your CAP life on the internet and get out and actually do it. That's the whole point of the cadet program, for you to actually participate and learn, not sit on the sidelines and ask maddeningly BAD questions on an internet forum. Go promote. Go to a SAREX. Go to encampment. Go to activities. Get off the internet.

that hardly ever works for me. Hopefully it does in this case.
