PAO. ;) I was looking for a digital copy of the newspaper article done about my wife and myself meeting and I stumbled across it in a most unusual place: A TXWG newsletter. (http://www.texascadet.org/news/stories/2008/200808/NEWSLETTER%2027%20Aug%202008.pdf)
I do have to thank Maj. Carrales because that's the only place it's still online so it came in handy.
First off, you guys are a great looking couple. Dave, you've doubled your cool points by having the gumption to marry someone who minored in martial arts! I've seen several CAP couples - they've always seemed to be having fun having CAP in common.
Second, Sparky - what a great squadron news letter! Well done!

Well, what can I say...you were wearing a service cap in the photo. ;D The weekly newsletter for our unit has done a good deal to preserve our Unit's history....I'm glad it could do the same here.

Thanks, I took on a great load in doing a weekly newsletter, however, it pays off. I believe in as much "unit transparency" as possible. That newsletter provides that. I had become to busy to pull it off last quarter 2009, but its back, although with some format changes.

It was her idea. I've worn it once since then. ;D Flight cap is less hassle.
Yeah. Not my favorite hat. I've worn them, I think, twice. Once at Army Basic Training graduation and once in my Army Dress Blues. It was a hassle both times. When I made major I thought about buying one but never got around to it.
Once again, Sparky. Great job. It's amazing what can get done with a bit of time and determination. Now you just need to find someone to take it over for you.
