Title: Getting overseas squadron contact info
Post by: mynetdude on November 24, 2009, 07:07:48 PM
Not sure where to post this... there doesn't seem to be a "squadrons" forum or "squadron information" not sure that there is a need... but right to the point (so mods, please move where this best fits).

I know CAP has at least one Overseas squadron in Germany, not sure where exactly but I am going to Germany in March and would like to know if its possible to visit the squadron there.  I went to the gocivilairpatrol.org CAP units locator and there is not an option to look up overseas squadrons so I cannot obtain their contact information.

If anyone has any current information, would appreciate obtaining those somehow.  thanks again.

I seem to recall that there is one at Ramstein AFB.  Not sure of how to contact them.

Think one of them posted here a few months ago, I'll do a search.... thanks.

I kind of found what I was looking for by searching, contacted them and made inquiry seems these folks are hard to get ahold of I guess.

This would be a good thread (unless there is already more of these) for locating squadrons other than using the squadron locator).

Hello from Europe,

NHQ-OS 126 is the cadet squadron at Spangdahlem AFB/Germany about 25miles north of the city of Trier and about the same distance away from the border to Luxembourg.

Whenever you are in the area, please let me know. You are more than welcome to visit us.

You can also visit our website and see what we have done in the past:
