Title: New Cadet Membership Processing Time
Post by: Pingree1492 on October 25, 2009, 05:58:41 PM
I've noticed in the past that National used to process new cadet memberships in just a couple of days.

We turned in our last batch of new cadet applications over two weeks ago, and they've yet to show up in eServices.

Is anyone else experiencing delays?  Anyone know why it would be delayed so long?

When did National receive them? If the USPS has fallen back to their tradition level os efficency, it may have taken a week to arrive.

You cold also call National on Monday...

Also, don't forget there was a holiday the week before last. Believe it or not, that does cause a slight delay.

And then, aren't there still renovations being made at NHQ?

The last few we sent in, were processed in pretty good time.

If the person who's responsible for processing the paperwork is out for a day or more the paperwork will sit until his return.

Send an email to membershipservices@capnhq.gov, they are fairly quick to respond. Our normal turnaround is about 6 business days from mailing here in CA to receipt at Maxwell and inputted in eServices.

Perhaps we should get the forum mod to move this to "bragging rights"

BTW anyone got an idea how "big" some cadet/composite squadrons are? I tried to get the info from National but they wouldnt release it. Seperate post perhaps?

All of them. It's a military school that uses CAP instead of JRTOC. A fair chunk of the teachers are officers too.

Okay then, how about the biggest cadet or composite squadron NOT in a school (Like mine is at a Army NG armory)?
