Title: How do I get my MP to show up on eservices?
Post by: flyguy06 on October 03, 2009, 07:12:50 AM
I recently completed the last task tobecome a Mission Pilot. The Form 91. My MS expired however and so eservices didnt give me credit for MP. So, I had a eal mission and my Squadron Commander went onto eservices and approved me to be a MS I thoughty this would them approve me for the MP. What it did was put as a MP trainee on my 101 coard? Why is it doing that.'

eservices is very confusing. i wish we could still just send in a signed off sheet that says what we have completed.

It is probably pending Group/Wing approval.

Go to OPS Quals - Emergeny Services tab with you 101 Card. Near the top of the page just above your name will be a link Click here to show achievements. Click on it and it will show whether or not it is pending or not.

It would be nice if there was a simple way to tell what tasks were causing you a problem.

Flyguy, do all of your MP tasks show approved or are there some that are awaiting approval?
Sounds to me like you have at least one task that has not been approved yet.

Heres the thing. I went to NESA in 2008. Did everything except the Form 91.My 101 card was listing me as a MP trainee ever since then . got the form 91 done last week.  But my MS had expired therefore the MP wasnt valid. U undertsand that. So my squadron commmander approved my MS as valid becausse id di a real mission a few months back. Now my MP is showing up as a trainee status again. why?

Did you check to see if it is pending group and/or wing approval?

If you have groups, the new achievement must be approved by both group and wing. Otherwise it must be approved by wing.

If it is still pending approval, it will show in the link I mentioned in my previous post.

It would also show in My OPS Quals Personal Approval Report in My Favorites on the left side of eServices.

You can always pick up the phone and call NHQ; they've been more than helpful every time I called.

I had an issue where an MS trainee status just wouldn't show on a 101 card. After a five minute conversation, problem was solved.

What office at NHQ did you call?

I called Member Services (877-227-9142) and explained my problem, they transferred me. I didn't write down the gentleman's name, which was kinda dumb, as I might just need his help again some day.

Maybe a CAPTalker will have a name and extension number.

It's probably sitting in a validation queue at Group or Wing.

I have an MP trainee having the same issues in eServices.

Check with your chain of command first.

I missed where you confirmed your Fm91 was entered and validated.

If you haven't already, go to Ops Quals - Pilot and to make sure all the Fm91 requirements have been entered and validated.  Things like the aircraft questionaire and CAPR 60-1 exam.  There is a link titled "What do I need" that will flag missing items.
