Title: Somafm.com Mission Control Stream
Post by: Eclipse on September 03, 2009, 02:35:13 PM
I posted this on CS related to the current shuttle launch.

http://somafm.com/

This is a web-based music stream which incorporates space music with audio from NASA space missions.
During shuttle activity the stream includes the live NASA audio.

Its neat to hear audio from the Apollo missions, etc., especially the more mundane traffic that happens between launch and landing.

The streams work on just about any kind of PC or mobile device with a data connection and a media player.

Crew wake-up is around 11:30 AM Central, so right now NASA just has some pre-announcements on the day, however there's an EVA schduled for later so there should be a fair amount of traffic this afternoon.
