Hello:
My daughter 14 is looking into CAP in Franklin Michigan and I was telling her about a guy in my old scout troop (1699) from the Detroit area who was into CAP in the 70's.
I find references to the name but not much more. His name is Gordon McIntosh (MacIntosh?) and would be about 52 years old. The last I heard was he headed to Washington after high school. Haven't seen him since scouts but was wondering if this may be the same person I find references to on this board.
Thanks for any information anyone can provide.
Yes, Gordon is around still in the DC Wing, as were his 3 kids. Kirt Bowden can shed more light, he knows Gordon much better than I do.
Sent an email to Gordon, who has since retired from CAP asking if he wishes for me to pass on his contact info.
I'm sure he'll ask your name.
Thanks, I appreciate your help.
It has been a long time since scouts but I hope he remembers me and my brother Bruce.
BTW my daughter (13) just finished calling our local CAP and she is going to visit the meeting on Tuesday.
Thanks
David Poduska
Gordon gave me the green light to send his info.
Standby for PM...
Sheesh. Sorry I stepped away from CAP-talk for a couple of days.
I'm the deputy commander of the squadron in Franklin, MI.
Look forward to meeting you on Tuesday.
Its okay Slim, I've
got your back.
