Does anyone know a way to create a report using SIMS or CapWatchT showing who in the squadron has what ES qualifications? I'm sure there is some way if I was the ES officer but I'm not. Long story... but I need to know who I can talk to about future alerting since I'm GTL.
You can always cheat and use the WMU
Ask your commander to issue you a restricted application in e-services called "CAPWatch Tasks". This allows you to use Access for ES-related information. It's a great application for ES officers who are pretty sharp with Access. But you gotta ask for it. Your commander is automatically your unit's web security administrator so she or he can issue your that application. Please give that a try.
In eServices, choose "Operations Qualifications" on the right side of the screen. Then click on the "Reports" tab. Then choose the "All Qual/Achv with data" report. This report may or may not appear depending on your qualifications, but it is the report you want.

I do have access to CapWatch Tasks on eServices, I use it when I import to SIMS. Since SIMS doesn't have a ES Qual report, I was trying to find a simpler way then creating my own Access report.

My guess is that I don't have access to Operations Qualifications on eServices. I only have My Ops/Quals. I certainly have the data, since I have access to Tasks, I'm just looking for help in creating a report for myself. I'm only good enough at Access to do the SIMS import, not my favorite app.

Capt Morgan's point is a valid one. It can be found in the "reports" module in the restricted application entitled "Operations Qualifications" Again, you'll need to ask your commander for this permission. You'll want "Operations Qualifications - Reports - ES".
Thanks for the help... I think I might have figured out a way to make a report using Access and the task file. I just need to find a way now to make the report stick around each time the file is updated. Will ask commander tomorrow. Thanks.

Actually, just wanted to clarify that one part. In some places, like New York Wing, all WSA privileges are held at the Wing level and require requests to go up to Wing HQ to get access to any modules or privileges on E-Services.
Another method is to get access to "Member Reports" on the right. Provides all kinds of reports, how useful some are depends on your level of access (Duty position report may not be useful at the unit level, but is very helpful at wing). On report does just what you are looking for.
Ask your WSA (There is a listing on the third tab/fly up in the lower middle of the main screen.)

Until Aug 3rd you are correct
But after that WSA privileges are part of the duty application upgrade for commanders, this is of course assuming that the transition works seamlessly.
Somebody might have already said this, but if not:
You'll have to look individually using this method (a little time consuming depending on the size of your squadron), but it works until you can get restricted access to ops/quals.
In e-services on the left, go to "Member Search" and get all the CAPID #s for members of your squadron. Then go back to the main e-services page and on the left click "My Operations Qualifications/National Reports ". Then click on "National Reports". Then select "Mbr Qual Info Report" and put in one CAPID at a time, press your tab key and once the member's name loads click "view report". This will generate a pdf with all of the member's Operations qualifications.
The way Capt Morgan said is much quicker and easier, but until you get that access this may be the best alternative to Capwatch tasks/Access.
I got access today to the Ops Quals report feature... thanks for the help
