1. It depends on your unit and wing policies. Don't count on it.

2. How (IF) it works is dependent on 1.

3. Stay in school and learn proper writing techniques.

4. Hawk Mountain does not set policy for CAP.

5. Depends on state law. In Indiana, yes you can get out of school for ES.

I can't believe no one mentioned the parental factor...

Talk to your parents and if they are ok with it, have them talk to your squadron Emergency Services Officer and Deputy Commander for Cadets/Squadron Commander about it. Sometimes the parents and the ESO maybe ok with it, but the DCC or SQ/CC may not be.

The OP mentioned it.

No need to repeat since the OP knows about it.

The unit CC's approval (or lack thereof) should be covered in unit policies.

Stop texting so much.

Get good grades, play sports, do activities other than CAP, get a part time job and make sure you can write properly!

That's twice you misspelled "habits".  And it's spelled "applies" not "applys", and "focus" not "focuse".

Nobody will take you seriously if you keep misspelling common words, use horrible grammar and/or sentence structure and don't use punctuation.  You REALLY need those basic skills to get into the military academies.

Try using the spell checker.  It's kinda hidden, but it's available for use.  (It's that button "Spell Check" to the right of "Post")

Maybe he's stuck really deeply in the LOTR universe, and keeps thinking hobbits?  ;)

I'v been watching this thread all day, and just want to say to you guys that:

1. yes, Kc2ush you should have at lest copied and pasted to MSword, note pad, etc. all your posts if spell check does not work as you say.

2. BUT, SarDragon and whatevah, don't be so hard on Kc.

hey, just putting in my two cents! (no pun intended)

So since we are discussing spell check buttons and spelling, this thread is ....... DEAD??

That is a shame, I thought it would turn into another "Ranger Bashing" session.   >:D
