This one is my favorite med vest, they have the same one minus the bladder for about 40 less.

Try SportsmansGuide.com.

They don't have any of those types of vests.

I have this vest and I'm very pleased with it. I carry pretty much everything specified in the task guide for the 24 hour pack and it all fits easily.

The only drawback is that is it is pretty much impossible to wear while riding in a vehicle.  When we are driving around in the CAP van  getting in and out every 15 minutes I'm constantly taking it on and off.

If you're not wondering off from the van why bother putting it on at all?

Regs require wear while on the mission, with no indication its OK to take the vest off while in the van.

You could theoretically get hurt or lost in heavy brush 10 ft from the van and be left on your own.

(Or more likely hit by a car at night on a dark street).

I'm fond of the Hydra Sar that was mentioned above.  I got it for NESA last year and it's worked out fantastic ever since.

That should be common sense though. I'm gonna throw the safety card and say the seat belts work better without the vest in the way.

That's a bit of a stretch but is possible I suppose.

Wear a regular reflective vest if all your doing is df from the roadside. As a matter of fact Indiana law requires it and that vest doesn't cut it.
