Title: Illinois Wing earns "Excellent" for bienneal eval
Post by: Eclipse on June 01, 2009, 03:53:58 AM
That's two eval's running at "excellent", with the comment that we were "this close" to "outstanding".

So kudos to FLWG for what it takes to get the "Big O", and "great work all" to us!

Teamwork minus egos is a big factor, also having good depth at position so the world isn't on one person's shoulders the whole time.

Showing a sense of real-world urgency in the planning and prosecution.

And there's no real substitute for experience.  That gives you both the muscle memory to get the boilerplate stuff rolling, as well as the program knowledge to know what you can do when the situation requires you to get creative.

High Quality Coffee

Experience players with time tested toys

The ability to roll with and adopt changes to the way we "have always done things"

And ultimately the room full of people that walked in the door and left as friends.

The room was typically very light, and there was a lot of laughter.  Couple that with a sence of urgency and you are doing well.
