Title: Model Rocketry Patches
Post by: rebowman on April 27, 2009, 02:44:07 PM
CAPM 39-1 says that the Model Rocketry patch and Unit Patches are to be worn on the right pocket on BDUs.

What happens if a cadet has both?   Does the rocketry patch go on the left?

If multiple patches are authorized for the same location, then you need to choose one.

This is most evident in the left BDU breast pocket which finds the Comm, Safety, NCSAs, CPR, and everything else formerly (before American flag was worn) worn on the right shoulder, now found on the left breast pocket- but only one is worn.

Ah the wonderful world of patches.......too many of them IMHO, but thats a different thread. Yeah, for a cadet that has a unit and a rocketry patch, I would say use the unit patch for the BDU's, then have the cadet wear his/her pocket rocket on the blues uniform. That way there is still recognition of the unit, and the rocketry.
