Title: Ex's Open Cockpit - April edition
Post by: RiverAux on April 15, 2009, 10:43:56 PM
The April edition of the Executive Director's report is out http://members.gocivilairpatrol.com/news/exs_open_cockpit/index.cfm

Looks like we've found an expert to head up development of various online training courses and our making a variety of moves in that area.

29 schools, 300 teachers, 7,000 students in the ACE program.

North Dakota Wing is getting some sort of FLIR system.

All three of the C4 centers are up and running though the rumors I've heard said that they're scrapping that entire concept.

QuoteUNIFORM TEAM
Presented recommendations to CAP leadership for working with the Uniform Team, and developing a process for using Web site for member comment on uniform items similar to new Air Force policy. Coordinated many uniform agenda items for consideration at winter national board, and added two members to the uniform team.
Yay!

I think the Ex's Open cockpit is misnamed if we're stating it's the April edition. He only updates on an occasional basis. At one point he was a good 9 months behind in his monthly updates. Why don't they call it the Ex's Semiannual (maybe) update.  The only time you can expect his column to be timely is following the National Board meetings., give or take 6 weeks.
