Title: lopoking for a radio. . .
Post by: RogueLeader on April 13, 2009, 04:45:10 PM
Would a Motorola MCS2000 Mobile 2-Way Radio be able to work as a privately owned CAP radio?

Also any ideas where I can get a couple of good antennas?

[edit]

For a vehicle.

The list: https://ntc.cap.af.mil/comm/equipment/vhf_list.cfm

Says its fully compliant, but narrow-band only, so you'd have to wait until the conversion to use it.

When I pull up that same link it says it's compliant across the board, just no P25.

My bad - its not on the wideband-only list. You're right, fully compliant.
