The upgrade to the New Member Search Application is now complete and not only is it now much easier to check your own or someone else's records than ever before, but there is more information listed than in the past!
For example, Past Duty Positions are now shown.
Also shown is the Transfer History.
These are great additions and an improvement over the old records.

P.S. Any news if they will ever put Flight Officer grades (or as they say on eServices 'Rank') into the system?

I saw the new member search but didn't look into until I saw this. National, good job on this one.
It does look rather good, I personally like the ability to search via partial CAPID, as well as not being restricted to only 50 results. That said, there are some minor issues I've found and have reported, just waiting a reply from the dev responsible.
Looks like there are some improvements, and with a new system I imagine there are many improvements on NHQ's side of the house, as well. The only thing I noticed is the list of NCSAs I've participated in has disappeared from my record. No biggie, but does that mean they're no longer tracking/annotating members who attend NCSAs, IACE, etc in E-Services?
I like that it shows previous positions but it doesn't show prior commander positions.

Noticed our previous commanders' didn't have that one duty position noted on their previous assignments, also.
NCSAs still show up in the member search report, so they're still tracking them. I guess they just took it out of the training tab and didn't put it on any other tabs.
I suspect that since Commanders aren't entered through the duty assignment module, that's why that doesn't show up.
Does this mean they also fixed the CAP ID picture upload? My picture is now much larger, and much more pixelated, than it was before. Time to upload a new version, and hopefully they won't mangle it again.
I knew a guy who was "pixelated" once. They arrested him for drunk. ;D
Is this open for anyone to stroll through, or limited to CC's?
I can imagine that any number of folks would have an issue with their personal information, including home telephones,
etc., being open to every member in CAP, the fact that the WMU still provides that information not withstanding.

As far as I can tell: Unless you have certain duty assignments or WSA-assigned permissions, senior members can by default only see
certain info (like name, grade, CAPID, training completed, contact phone and email) for other members in their
own unit. Average members cannot view birthdate, home addresses (just city, state) or other personal info. This isn't really all that crazy -- you should be willing to at least share your phone number and email address with the other senior members in your unit. Most units publish a contact roster amongst the unit anyways.
Also as far as I know: Cadets have even more limited ability to view records.

As of my last check I was able to see the full members records for everyone. In my role as an encampment CC I have some wing-level permissions to view capwatch, etc., but up until now was not able to view anyone outside of my wing.
I was doing some checking today. As a regular old senior member I can see all of the info for all of my unit members. However when I was telling one of my cadets about it he told me he could only see his own. Im still not sure if he clicked on the right link but what he described is what I can see for every member in my unit.

That is correct. Cadets can only see their own information in member search (or interactive personnel system as it was previously called). Seniors cann see anyone in their unit. That's the way it's always been.

These base permissions for senior or cadet can be modified by a Web Security Administrator (WSA). An expiration date can even be set for any additional rights. I've found this very usefull for encampment staff.
While that is true, WSAs technically give access to a different module. What WSAs give fall under the Restricted Applications side of eServices, if they still click the "Member Search" link under CAP Utilities the base permissions still apply.

My reader picked up messages on 23 and 25 Feb. I think they are not updating every news item into the RSS
