Title: Wings / Badge Placement
Post by: Shotgun on February 12, 2009, 02:30:51 AM
Hey All,

I'm hoping to get some clarification on the placement of badges, insignia, and wings on the Corporate  Uniform.

Can someone confirm the correct placement of the following items:

Nameplate: Right Breast above pocket
Ground Team Member badge: Left breast 1/2 in above flap
CAP Pilot Wings: Left Brest 1/2 inch above CAP pilot Wings
Specialty Badge: Centered on left breast pocket below flap
Commanders Badge: Right Breast 1/2 in. above nameplate

My main point of confusion is the placement of the Wings and GT badge.  My instinct say the Wings go on top, but when I picture it in my mind it doesn't look right. And that is what is screwing me up.

Also, If someone could point out where the Commander's badge is referenced in the regs I'd appreciate it.

Thanks in advance!

Looks right to me - wings on top.

Command Badge reference:
Quote from: CAPM 39-1, Page 16, #8 (among several other references)
CAP Command Badge: Worn centered on right breast, 1/2 inch above nameplate.

Commander's badge can be found in Chapter 6, Section B of CAPM 39-1. Table 6-2, item 10. (page 108)

Wings go above everything else. The only exception to that rule is chaplain's insignia.

Other then that, looks like you're good to go.
