Has anyone successfully applied for CAPSOC Equivalency with a Navy Enlisted Leadership Course?
I attended what used to be called LMET (Leadership and Management Education and Training). I think they'd changed it LPO Leadership Development or something like that when I went through it.
It was a week long residence course inteneded for E-6 & LPO's. I'm probably getting close to the 20 year cutoff so I need to find out something soon. I will contact NHQ CAP/ETP like it states in 50-17 Att 2, but I'd like to hear if anyone has any experience with it already.
Thanks!
I had one of our Lieutenants get a waiver for LMET vice CAPSOC. Just send a copy of the completion certificate or other proof of completion (DD-214, SRB) to National.
Must be a new deal. I couldn't get credit back in '87.
Thanks for the responses.
OK, I found my certificate and the annotation on my DD214. I took the course Aug '91 so I'm still within the 20 year limit. Does anyone kinow the email address or fax number where I should send it? (Preferably email)
email to jcarroll@capnhq.gov
Thank You!
Update:
I submitted my certificate for "Navy Leadership Development Course LPO" to NHQ via email Sunday and it was credited for ECI-13 equivalent by Monday in eservices. (I recieved no reply to my email, it just showed up in eservices)
I completed the course in August of '91 so I was still well within the 20 year cutoff.
Thanks again for the help!
