Post by: Dutchboy on September 07, 2008, 02:07:10 AM
Where can I find a list of everything you would need for CAP, from boots to badges.
This includes specialty tracks and es items

Are you referring to uniform items only, or gear, books, etc?

If so, it would be hard to compile a list like that, everyone has individual needs and tastes.

I guess I am better of using the suggestion previously mentioned, even though not what I wanted. Thanks anyway.

Some considerations for such a list:
Uniforms -
Cadet or Senior
With in height weight standards or not
Involved with ES or not
Pilot/non-pilot

Specialty tracks -
What track
What level
Regualtions, Manuals, and Pamphlets are available for free download from National

Emergency Services -
Aircrew/Ground Team/Base Staff
What level - Basic (GTM3, Scanner, MRO, MSA, etc), Mid range (MO, MP, CUL, GTL,etc), Upper (AOBD, GBD, MSO, MIO, etc), Command Staff (OSC, PSC, LSC, FASC), IC

Then there's the every popular Personal Preferances

With that many variables, it is very difficult to come up with a comprehensive list.

If your talking about a basic squadron supply kit, stick with ribbons (all the achievement/milestone/PD, encampment, red service, cadet recruiting, NCSA, Community Service, Commander's Commendation), ribbon holders, grade insignia (Senior and Cadet) - metal pin on, epaulet sleeves, sew-on, BDU caps. If you can get uniforms from wing supply, get some. If nothing else, they'll be good to help new members figure out what sizes they need.
