I got a packet yesterday from NESA telling me I was accepted and giving all the rules and regs and what to bring and stuff.
I am actually getting a little excited about this course and am really looking forward to going. They sent me a list of everyone attending (I dont know why). There arent many folks from SER attending the MAS course. Most are doing the Ground stuff.
I really enjoy national activities. I get to meet people from all over the nation CAP
Yeah I believe there's one cadet flying in from New York, which is awesome.
It would be interesting to see a breakdown of attendence by region for the differente courses. Is it really "National"?
River,
What does that matter?
It would just be interesting to see what the distribution of students is for this national academy. Is there something suspicious about wondering this?
Just doing a quick look through the list, the roster looks fairly spread out. There are even 3 each from Alaska and Hawaii.

One of which from AKWG was a fellow MP candidate with me last year. Those guys (and girls) from up there have some awesome stories.

Someone needs to see if they can talk Alaska wing into bringing one of the Beavers down. I'd sign up for MAS if I could fly in that thing.
That would be amazingly sweet. But the cost of just flying it down and back would probably use up at least half of the school's flight budget for both weeks.
NESA is only 18 days away... Woohoo!
