Title: FOUND Life Saving Medals
Post by: Flying Pig on April 26, 2008, 03:31:33 AM
I was going through a large storage container today getting rid of junk the unit has stored for YEARS and came across two Certs of Life Saving that were framed and in a box.

1st Lt Angel C. Valenzuela, McClellan Composite Sq. 12 North Highlands Ca.
Awarded: August 12, 1994
Mission # OES-93-364,  4 July 1993

Capt. Patrick Harrington
Awarded:  4 March 2002.
Unk mission number or Sq.

I wasn't able to find any of them in any database I have access to.  I will attempt to contact Sq. 12 at McClellan unless someone here knows these people.

I believe I have located Lt. Valenzuela by playing around with eservices, and contact has been initiated.  Possibly located at Sq. 10 in Palo Alto, CA.  However, it is with sadness, I have discovered that Capt. Harrington passed away about 5 years ago.  He was actually a member of my Sq. before my time.  I believe I will try and locate his family.  If not, it will be posted at our Sq in memory.  His death was not related to CAP.
