Title: IL Earthquakes
Post by: SAR-EMT1 on April 18, 2008, 05:16:14 PM
As some may know, SE IL has had roughly 8 earthquakes in the last 10 hours.
There has been minor damage and several minor injuries.  While it woke many folks in this area, I was wondering if any of you have felt anything.

** At present there is no possibility of mission activity as a result of these quakes.

Apparently others have, hence this thread (http://captalk.net/index.php?topic=4793.0).

Woke me this morning also. I thought my ceiling fan had shifted a blade or something. I was surprised at the slow frequency and the length of time it lasted (my wife's jewelry hanging on the dresser was clanking at about two beats per second and it seemed to last a minute or more.)
