I was recently checking out the CAP-USAF web site http://www.maxwell.af.mil/au/capusaf/index.asp and found the OPS page http://www.maxwell.af.mil/au/capusaf/ops.asp interesting in that they regularly referred to Air Force Auxiliary as if it were our name.
Now, I may be reading too much into this, but could this reflect an AF preference?
I was also interested to see how they had the job breakdowns for positions at CAP-USAF.
You're reading too much into it...
I see CAP as often or more then USAFAux.

Reading too much into it +1
I guess I just find it funny more than anything else that about the only place I've ever seen Air Force Auxiliary (improperly) used so often as if it were our name is on the CAP-USAF site.
To even further extend the possibility/probability that I'm reading too much into it -- perhaps the CAP-USAF folks use that terminology to make it a little bit easier on them. Keep in mind that they have to deal with a bunch of AF folks on a regular basis who have little or no idea what CAP is and perhaps using AF Auxiliary smooths the way a little bit.
Anybody got that film that Mr. Zapruder took of NHQ at Maxwell? We may need that...
Thats not fair! I've never ever even made 1 black van reference....

I've been assigned to Photoshop it by a mangling editor, frame-by-grainy-frame, for the Warren Commission.
