Title: NESA '09 and after
Post by: FW on March 28, 2008, 12:32:23 AM
Just received some good news for NESA fans.

The NEC just voted to establish a permanent site at Camp Attleberry, IN  as the NESA-COE or NESA Center of Excellence.  More information on the center will follow as it becomes known.

Many Thanks to the Camp/CC, and the NESA leadership for making this a reality.

That is seriously outstanding news!

Does this mean dedicated busses to and from 2B and 1A?    ;D ;D ;D

Yeah, right.  The 15pk van had enough trouble going place to place at Atterbury with all the "interesting" road features. :D

Seriously, though.  There is already a permanent search-and-rescue training center on Atterbury.  I'm glad NESA will be adding their own.  Too bad there are no AF bases nearby for my husband to get stationed at.  I'd love to be on staff.

That's right - you've been there long enough to remember the dedicated busses (AND the Reservists).  Look at it this way, the busses resulted in the death hikes from the drop off point on 1A to the bivouac site....  At least the vans can get you closer.... ;)
