Title: Boston Pops
Post by: link on March 24, 2008, 02:01:42 PM
I know it's early to be thinking about July 4th, but I'm going to ask any way.  I'm going up to Boston for the 4th and thinking of going to see the Pops Concert.  As many of you who watch the show know they play a medly of the service anthems and ask that if you serve or have served when your branches song is played that you stand up.  What I'm wondering is because of our relationship with the Air Force when they play the Air Force Anthem can we stand up as well?

Boston.....blah

But yes, feel free to stand.  In fact, stand for all the services songs, that would be very relevant in todays world.  Showing your support for the military is awesome!

Well it's not to show support as much as it's supposed to show you're part of that branch.

Stand up when they play the CAP song.  >:D

...And watch it on TV... you'll get better seats.

I'm coming up to visit some friends from college.

If they did play the CAP song it would be much easier.
