Freakin tornadoes...

I love waking up at 2am to the sound of my weather radio and the tornado sirens. But, lucky for us, the system disappated before it got to my town.

Sadly, the same wasn't true for many others in Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, and other states.

I've heard that MSWG has already been tasked for the morning. Any other wings been stood up yet? We in TNWG haven't heard as of yet.

anyone know if there was anything near San Antonio or Oklahoma City?  From the states listed it seems like a long shot, but you never know with weather.

Here is the link to a map at the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center (SPC), showing storm reports.  The SPC received 73 official tornado reports yesterday, and so far one today.  None in Oklahoma or Texas.

The SPC issues weather watches (not warnings) and keeps severe storm stats.  Good place to look at if one is interested in weather.
